7 Mauritians Have Their Gold Seized In An Airport In India

Yesterday, 7 Mauritians were arrested at the airport of Mumbai. They had violated the regulations of the Indian customs system by carrying in their luggages huge amounts of gold. The customs officers together with officers of the Indian Directorate of Revenue Intelligence dealt with the group of people, which also included other 2 foreigners. They had in their possession 18 kilos of gold amounting to around Rs 25 millions. The 7 Mauritians had 4,95 kilos of gold, making approximately Rs 27 millions.
