As the new academic year 2014-2015 of the University of Mauritius will soon start off, the first-year students will have Induction Week dedicated to them to get them acquainted with their new environment.
The holidays for university students will soon be over. As is the tradition, the freshers of the University of Mauritius (UoM) will have one special week assigned for them: Induction Week, which will last from the 28th of July to the 1st of August.
They are around 4300 first-year students who will get to know university life for the first time. During the Induction Week, they will be led onto the university campus, including their classes and main spots of the institution. Members of the Students’ Union will guide them through the infrastructure.
They will also be addressed by the vice-chancellor of UoM, Roomeela Mohee.
