Serge Clair, the chief commissioner of Rodrigues, has had to be brought to the hospital of Creve-Coeur, Rodrigues, yesterday, 16th of July.
He was attending a reception when he suddenly felt sick there. He was then immediately transported to the hospital where he was admitted in the intensive care unit.
His health is now being monitored closely by the doctors of Creve-Coeur hospital.
Update: Afternoon 17.07.14
After having been admitted to Queen Elizabeth hospital at Creve Coeur to receive the adequate care yesterday night, the health state of Serge Clair improved. He has been able to return home today morning.
He was advised by his doctor to rest for some days. Otherwise, nothing serious has been reported. After he was subjected to medical tests, it was found that his health condition is not threatened. He now just needs to take some time off and take a rest to feel energised again.
