The inhabitants of Rose-Hill are currently going through the water distribution ordeal: tap-water will be available to them only during certain hours of the day and night as from today, 27th of October.
People residing in the affected regions of Rose-Hill had been filing complaints to the authorities concerning the hassle of having repetitive water shortage for a while now. The topography of the region is allegedly to be blamed for this problem…
This decision of the Central Water Authority (CWA) to provide limited water supply is the result of the decrease in level of water in the groundwater sheet that constitutes the water-source supplying the regions of Trefles, Plaisance, Boundary, Camp-Levieux, Roches-Brunes, Mont-Roches, Stanley, as well as other nearby regions which are considered part of Rose-Hill. As a consequence, a specific time-table has been designed to fit in the current circumstances of water availability.
The above-mentioned areas will have water available from 4:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m and from 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m everyday.
