When we run out of ideas, we call for foreign expertise! The Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, announced that the help of French experts has been sought to tackle the water crisis that inhabitants of certain regions of the island are currently facing.

During a PTr-MMM meeting at Beau-Bassin yesterday night (12.11.14), the PM stated that he is well-aware of the situation and has thus decided to call for foreign expertise. He added that the water pipes supplying those regions have not been changed for several years in a row.

The PM reminded the crowd that he had, in the past, solicited the assistance of experts from Singapore. Recently, he has communicated his requests to Ségolène Royal to deal with the issue at hand.

The French team will soon travel to the island for the purpose.

  • Incredible all these Laureates, highly remunerated official, technicians can’t handle such an issue ?

    After Singapore now French experts ? Why not Indian or Pakistanis ?

    Harry Baulluck Ex-chairman of the CWA declared, while the MIDLANDS DAM (1 billion Rupees) contract was being allocated that he sworn and promised water 24/7 in all TAPS in Mauritius !!

    Matthew 5:34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne;

    Are we really technically, intellectually independent ?

    Ene na pas vaut l’autre !!!
