Robert O’Neil: Man Who Killed Osama Bin Laden Comes Forward

For ten years following the terrorist attacks on U.S soil, that was masterminded by Osama Bin Laden, the U.S special forces had hunted and scoured all of the known world. A curtain of paranoia shrouded the U.S population as covert missions engulfed the mid east. Periodically veiled transmissions and rants were broadcasted from Bin Laden’s secret lairs, denouncing the U.S and other democratic nations. Rumors of his location were received from time to time and continued to fuel the massive inter national manhunt. The leads were followed upon only to find his absence and like a surreal phantasm he dissolved into the night, until May of 2011, when it was announced that Osama Bin Laden had been killed.

Osama Bin Laden was born to the wealthy Bin Laden family of Saudi Arabia. He gained a notorious reputation with the world as being the founder and leader of the infamous terror group called AL-Qaeda. He attended a facility of higher learning in his home country until 1979, when he left school to join the Mujahideen forces in Pakistan that were fighting against Soviet forces in Afghanistan. From 1992 to 1996 he and AL-Qaeda were banished and pressured to leave the countries of Saudi Arabia and Sudan, only to set up a base of operations in Afghanistan. Bin Laden was first placed on the U.S’s Federal Bureau of Investigations ten most wanted after a 1998 bombing of the U.S embassy in New York City.

The highly elite branch of the U.S special forces known as the Navy SEALs has a strict code of silence and confidentiality in regard to all of their operations. Recently former SEALs member Robert O’Neil has broken orders and come forward as the gunman who pulled the trigger and ended Osama Bin Laden’s reign of terror.

O’Neil, 38 from Butte Montana is currently a retired highly decorated special forces officer. He had served with the forces for 17 years before taking an early retirement. Presently, he works as a motivational speaker for the Washington D.C based group called the Lending Authorities.

An interview on Fox News was scheduled for next week, but O’Neil was under the assumption that his story was going to be leaked by the special operations forces situation report or and held an interview with the Washington Post where he revealed his true identity as killer of Osama Bin laden.

Prior to the recent leak of the true identity belonging to the man who killed Bin Laden, other SEALs officers from the team that was involved in the secret mission to hunt Bin Laden had released books and have been used as movie consultants for the film Zero Dark Thirty.

O’Neill actions has led to threats of legal recourse from the outraged Pentagon and high ranking SEALs officials. O’Neil could become ostracized by the special forces community.
