Mauritius SC Results 2015 (Exams 2014) Online Today

The Mauritius SC Results 2015 (for exams scheduled from October to December 2014) will be announced today. For the first time in Mauritius, the SC (School Certificate) results will be available online on the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) secure website: https://myresults.cie.org.uk

Please note that the results will NOT be publicly available for obvious reasons. Every candidate will be able to view only his/her results by accessing the website using the login credentials provided at their respective schools on Tuesday 20th January 2015. The results will be available as from 10:00 GMT+4 today.

According to the MES, the online results website will however not provide the Aggregate Point per subject. Only the word PASS or FAIL will be mentioned. Detailed results with the Aggregate Points included will be printed and distributed on Monday 26th January 2015.

UPDATES:

The killer suspense hovering over SC students will dissolve at ten today – less than an hour from now. At ten, all 19 538 candidates will have access to their results online.

For the first time ever, Mauritian students will have their results on the same day as international ones. Candidates from Rodrigues will also henceforth enjoy this privilege.

The Officer-in-Charge of the MES, Ahmed Jahangeer, stated that everything is ready for the online procedures to go on smoothly. The MES had previously printed out all the access codes of the candidates and the college rectors were to fetch them. Some rectors, however, had opted for printing the passwords themselves. Private candidates have also received their access codes in advance.

To further ease the process, the MES has ensured that colleges have access to the Internet so that any candidate unable to connect at home can view his results at his own college.

The results that will be published online will however not be complete; the number of aggregates scored by the students will not be made available. Rather, the results will be in the form of “A, B, C, …” and so on. The final results will only be available next Monday to the respective rectors. Meanwhile, the students will be admitted to Lower Six classes based on the incomplete results.

How to interpret the codes?

A+ –> 1
A –> 2
B –> 3,4
C –> 5,6
D –> 7
E –> 8
U –> 9
