The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, invited as the guest of honour by the Mauritian government for the National Day celebrations tomorrow, has arrived at the airport at 16h20 today, 11th of March.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, arrived at the Mauritian airport at 16h20 onboard an Air India One aircraft. He disembarked at 16h40.
He was welcomed upon his arrival by the Mauritian Prime Minister, Anerood Jugnauth (SAJ). Other personalities were also present, including the Leader of the Opposition, Paul Berenger. He also met with the President of the Republic, Kailash Purryag.
After gracing the Independence Day celebrations tomorrow with his presence as guest of honour, Narendra Modi will also visit other countries in the Indian Ocean, namely the Seychelles, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
