Arnaud Boodram, the man suspected to have been involved in the Eleana Gentil case, wishes to have the charges of murder levelled against him to be dropped. His lawyer, Deepak Rutnah, has presented a motion in court to request for the cancellation.
Boodram was arrested on the 17th of April by investigators working on the Eleana Gentil case. He had appeared in the court of Port-Louis yesterday. The motion presented by his lawyer will be debated on the 28th of April. Meanwhile, the accused will be kept in prison.
Eleana Gentil was found dead at Nouvelle France on the 15th of April; she was reported missing by her family since the 5th of April.
