The road remains dodgy for ex-Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam. He has just been arrested by the CCID investigating the Bramer House affair.
One of the lawyers of Navin Ramgoolam, Gavin Glover, explained to members of the press at 18h15 that 3 provisional charges have been levelled at his client. No more detail was provided.
Ramgoolam was at the CCID at around 11h30 today, accompanied by lawyers Gavin Glover and Showkut Oozeer. It is expected that the ex-PM will spend the night in the detention center of Moka tonight.
Navin Ramgoolam was summoned at the CCID to explain his involvement in the selling of the office space at the Bramer House situated at Ebene to Ottoman Capital Ltd; the property belonged to the Bramer Property Fund. The ex-PM had given the official permission for the deal to take place.
