After Claudio Feistritzer, the Chairman of the Bramcom Holding Ltd, a subsidiary group of the BAI, was interrogated under warning at the headquarters of the CCID yesterday, 14th of May, he was kept in detention for the whole night; his lawyer Gavin Glover announced that he would spend the night in cell.
He will appear in the court of Curepipe today morning to face the charges of Money Laundering, Conspiracy to Defraud and Breach of Company Act levelled against him.
It is said that his wife, Adeela Rawat, might be arrested today.
Another son-in-law of Dawood Rawat, Brian Burns, the CEO of Iframac, might also be arrested. They will be interrogated for them to provide explanations as to the transfers of the BAI to subsidiary groups.
