Fraud Suspicions: Rs 132 Million In Foreign Currency Found at the Airport

Several bags containing a total of Rs 132 million have been seized at the SSR International Airport of Mauritius yesterday, 21st of May.


Financial authorities had organised an operation at the airport of Plaisance because of suspicions of fraud. The airport was kept under high surveillance since around 2 weeks. Yesterday, 21st of May, they finally found something.

9 bags containing Rs 132 million in American dollars, euros, and in pounds sterling, have been discovered in an Emirates airplane.
