Today marks the deadline for the submission of financial offers for the purchase of the subsidiary groups of the BAI. Some time back, several national and international companies had shown interest in making the acquisition of the firms. Apollo Bramwell hospital seems to gain the most attention from potential buyers.

The 3 subsidiary groups of the BAI, namely Apollo Bramwell hospital, Iframac and Courts, might soon be re-bought by other companies. The hospital is apparently the most coveted of the group. According to defimedia.info, around 15 companies seek to make its acquisition, including Swan and Medical and Surgical Centre, Rogers & Co, and India’s Apollo Hospital Enterprise Ltd.
As for Iframac, firms like ABC Group, ENL Ltd and Moroccan company OPTORG, might be interested. However, ever since Iframac lost the 3 prestigious franchises Mercedes, Peugeot and Mitsubishi, the buyers are not as enthusiastic.
Courts might go into the hands of its ex-owner, David Isaacs, or Courts Asia or even CIM Finance.
Meanwhile, before any decision is taken, the 2 Special Administrators have to study the offers. The procedure will be followed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC). Everything might be finalised by mid-July. However, things might change drastically now: Dawood Rawat has taken legal actions against the government pertaining to the BAI crisis. Time will tell who will win.
