Will The MMM Ask Pravind Jugnauth To Resign As Deputy?

Following the verdict of the intermediary court pertaining to the MedPoint affair, the members of the MMM had gathered for a special meeting to discuss the repercussions of the ruling on the Mauritian political arena.

The leader of the MMM himself, Paul Berenger, has not yet commented on the verdict. He intends to speak of the issues on Saturday only, during a press conference. The position of the MMM on the situation might depend on the sentence to be pronounced.

If Pravind Jugnauth is sentenced to imprisonment for at least a year, the MMM might demand his resignation from the Parliament.

According to DefiMedia.info, the sentence delivered will determine the stance of the MMM and whether or not they will ask for his resignation as deputy.
