The organisers of Government Lotteries have submitted a new formula to the Ministry of Finance. The plan was made with the aim of attracting more clients; if approved, the changes might possibly be implemented by October.
Currently, if the winning ticket is not sold, the drawing of lots continues till someone wins. According to the formula waiting to be approved or rejected, while the jackpot of Rs 10 million will remain the same, it will be postponed for the next drawing of lots the next month. This means that the jackpot of Rs 10 million as well as that of the previous drawing of lots will be involved.
Thereafter, if the two winning tickets remain unsold, the two lots of Rs 10 million will again be postponed for the next drawing of lots. If this happens again though, the drawing of lots will be done on the same day until there is at least one winner.
