The president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is currently in Mauritius for a three-day official visit. Following his arrival today, August 24, he was greeted by the Prime Minister, together with a delegation of ministers. They then travelled to Reduit to meet up with the President of the Republic, Ameenah Gurib-Fakim.
The president of Ghana has a very busy schedule. He is expected to meet the PM to sign a series of agreements for the Mutual Visa Exemption and for the development and management of the two Technology Parks in Ghana. They will also establish other agreements pertaining to Quality Assurance and education-based exchanges.
A banquet in honour of the president will be held today evening at the Swami Vivekananda Centre at Pailles.
Tomorrow, President John Dramani Mahama will have lunch at Reduit with President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim. Thereafter, he will pay a visit at the Aapravasi Ghat, after which he will travel to the Beau-Plan Business Park to visit the African Leadership College.
