Dog Sterilisation Campaign Launched At Union Park

The Ministry of Agro-Industry organised a sterilisation campaign for dogs yesterday, September 2, at Union Park.

Of the 300,000 dogs in Mauritius, over 60,000 are strays, according to the minister. We are among the countries with a very high rate of dogs per number of inhabitants: one dog for 4 inhabitants.
