A group of 30 government employees will follow a course at the ‘College of Public Service’ on November 16. The aim behind this initiative is to enhance the quality of the service provided.
The Minister of Civil Service Affairs, Alain Wong, announced yesterday, November 5, that the State intended to improve the service provided by civil employees.
Two sessions of the courses will be held as from November 16 with the first batch of civil servants. The themes for the classes include “customer service excellence” and “leadership making a difference”.
The College of Public Service itself is at its first stage of development.
Minister Alain Wong explained that the institution would soon operate in a building at Ebene, but in the meantime, the courses would be held in Port-Louis in a room belonging to the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs.
