Blendax is no more commercially available. Rather, it has been replaced by Dentamax.
The firm behind the toothpaste brand, Mauritius Cosmetics Ltd (MCL), based at Vacoas, has developed its own toothpaste under brand-name Dentamax that has been put together by local experts. Dentamax toothpastes have been on sale since January.
The commercialisation of Blendax, originally a German brand, stopped back in December because the contract thereof was not renewed by the company Procter & Gamble.
Dentamax is currently available is two forms: strong and light mint. At the end of this month, another variety, Dentamax Kids, will be put on sale.
