The Prime Minister can read without his glasses thanks to the eye surgery he recently went through. Dr Kasu Prasad from India has reassured that he is in perfect health, reports DefiMedia.info.
Sir Anerood Jugnauth (SAJ) travelled to India earlier this month to undergo eye surgery. He was suffering from cataract, and glaucoma (a condition characterised by increased pressure in the eyeball.). He was admitted in Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospital situated in Hyderabad. He left the hospital yesterday morning, February 25.
The medical practitioner who performed the surgery, Dr Kasu Prasad Reddy, explained that they used a combination of new technological methods to operate on him, and that the PM was already recovering.
Dr Prasad says that patients feel much better in two days only thanks to the technique they used. In his statement reported by DefiMedia.info, he says that the PM has even been able to move about by himself.
