MH370 Debris in Rodrigues: Malaysian Experts Travel To Mauritius For Analysis

Pieces of debris found in Rodrigues are thought to have once belonged to the missing Malaysian MH 370 aircraft. To confirm the theory, Malaysian experts will travel to Mauritius this week.

Airplane debris have been found at Rodrigues last week. It is likely that these were part of the MH 370 aircraft. The fragment in question will be transferred to Mauritius where Malaysian experts will come to analyse the findings.

The experts from Malaysia are expected to come to the island tomorrow, April 5. The debris will then be taken to Malaysia for further analysis. Officials from the two countries have been in contact to deal with the transfer procedures.

Two weeks ago, a similar discovery was made off the coast of Mozambique. Australian officials had said that debris found there were likely to have belonged to the MH370 airplane. It is to be noted that the latter went missing two years ago, back in March 2014. The Malaysian authorities coupled with Australian ones have been searching for debris ever since.
