A car crashing into a shop, breaking its windows into hundreds of pieces. A very rare sight in Mauritius, one more worthy of movies and TV shows. It did, however, actually happen today, July 19, at Plaine Lauzun, near the National Transport Authority (NTA) building.
The spectacular scene, albeit painful and costly no doubt, occurred in the afternoon. Thankfully, noone was injured, and the damage has been limited to material things.
According to DefiMedia.info, the driver who was a client of the shop lost control of his vehicle shortly after having started it. The car was, thus, directed to the shop, breaking into it.
