Following the suicide bombing in the city of Madinah in Saudi Arabia, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anwar Husnoo, has indicated that the necessary measures to ensure the safety of Mauritians currently in KSA have been taken.
In a press conference organised today, July 5, minister Anwar Husnoo explains that the Mauritians currently in KSA (a group of 2,000 of them) are safe and sound. He says that measures have been taken to keep them safe.
This information has been communicated by the Minister of Housing and Lands, Showkutally Soodhun, who has recently travelled to KSA, says minister Husnoo.
Another reassuring news related by minister Soodhun is that none of the Mauritians has been injured.
