Watch Live: NASA’s Press Conference on Planets Beyond Our Solar System

Watch NASA’s press conference on recent findings on exoplanets live tomorrow!

NASA has scheduled a press conference on “Discovery Beyond Our Solar System” for Wednesday, February 22, at 1 p.m. EST; the findings stemming from recent research pertaining to exoplanets will be presented. You can watch the event from the comfort of your home at this link.

Exoplanets are planets orbiting stars outside our solar system. They are believed to constitute the possibility of life beyond Earth. Observations made by scientists throughout the years indicate that many an exoplanet appears to bear close resemblance to our Earth; they might even contain the building blocks of life. In light of all this, many are eagerly waiting for the live streaming of the event.

You can put forth your own questions to NASA on Twitter through the hashtag #askNASA. Furthermore, the agency will put a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) at the disposal of the public at 3 p.m. Scientists will attend to questions in English and Spanish, as indicated on NASA’s website.

The details to be discussed at the news conference have not been revealed, though.
